Another week, another reason to get excited about the (surely by now) imminent arrival of summer. We've had playlists for Field Day, All Points East, and Festival No.6, and now it's the turn of AVA Festival, Northern Ireland's pioneering electronic music event. It takes place over the 1st and 2nd of June in Belfast, and is the first of its kind for the city.

For the electronic heads out there, the line up is big. Across the two days you'll be able to catch the likes of  Larry Heard, Floorplan, BICEP, Mano Le Tough, DVS1, KiNK (Live), Rødhåd, Helena Hauff, Hunee, Denis Sulta, and more.

Before hitting the dancefloors, make sure to take advantage of the free daytime conference which will provide an opportunity for emerging and established artists, DJ’s, producers, managers, agents, labels, designers, visual artists, promoters and guests, to share their knowledge. Pretty sure you won't want to miss Larry Heard's keynote or KiNK's masterclass.

As if all that isn't enough, the weekend also boasts visual arts, an opening gig and film screening on Thursday, and an official closing party with Rush Hour don Antal on Sunday. What's not to like?

With flights still available from most major UK cities for less than £40, this is your chance to book in a weekend that promises to be pretty special. Grab your tickets to AVA Festival here
