In Snapper Theatre’s debut production, writer Lucy Foster paints the struggle of two women desperate to love each other, even when love simply isn’t enough.

‘London Rock: The Unseen Archive by Alec Byrne’ brings together a collection of previously unseen photographs from Byrne’s rediscovered archive (stored for nearly four decades in his LA garage, and surviving and studio fire, a flood, and an earthquake). The exhibition coincides with the UK launch of the photographer’s exclusive collector’s book, containing essays and pictures which detail the many faces that defined British rock n’ roll.

Hear three poets with distinct experiences of migration read and tell their stories, and explain how those experiences affected their poetry. Poets featured include Norbert Hirschhorn, whose parents emigrated from Poland to Austria, and via Italy and the UK to the USA. Recently, Norbert has lived in Beirut and London. Also speaking are Dutch poet Arnold Jansen op de Haar, who moved to the UK in 2014 and is directly affected by Brexit; and TS Eliot Prize-shortlisted Jacqueline Saphra from South Africa, bringing another perspective on migration to the evening.
